Bodies and Machines is an honors course at the University of Arizona. This class deals with the current question "is the human body a machine?" We read a new article every week from different authors, ranging from scientist, anthropologists, theologians, that share their views on how they perceive the human body and the connections between our technologically advanced society and how we view the body.
This course has taught me major critical thinking. It brings up questions and concepts I have never thought about or heard of in other classes. I have learned that growing up around technology has most definitely shaped the way i view the human body and what exactly might be the meaning of life itself.
