Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is not only understanding and kind, but he brings this energy that can get everyone talking and participating. Most college kids hate participating unless necessary, but honestly it felt like such a family in that classroom. It wasn't judgemental, and opinions and ideas could be shared without ridicule.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about literacy terms, what they meant, how to pick a apart a story or a poem and even how to write our own. I also learned a lot about modern day society, and how to write essays and site them. A lot of it might feel like review but I honestly am glad I took this course, and in a heartbeat i would take it again.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It will help you if you need to write papers. There is no down side to taking it, even if its hundred and one percent review to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Rebecca Cash was by far the most down to earth teacher I have ever had. She took the time to get to know all her students and help them individually with anything they needed guidance with. She also made basic English classes relate to current events and did not bore us to death.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing was prob that she signed all her emails with $ (for Cash). I learned English can be fun and that even college teachers can really care about their students

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read the chapters. also take her seriously do all the required steps for each essay assignment. she sets you up to succeed and by doing these steps she is able to go over the work with you and give feedback before it is being graded.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches student's the basics about writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly cite sources. The highlights were that I got to do a lot of writing, because I thoroughly enjoy writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor is a tough grader when it comes to writing. Do not get discouraged if the first grade that he gives you is low. Remember that you can keep improving and your grade can only go up from here!
