    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a computer science major looking to build a strong foundation of complimentary skills, having a solid understanding of how networks communicate is an intelligent decision no matter how you look at it!

    Course highlights:

Gaining a better understanding of what the internet is on a "physical" level, and learning just how data facilitates communication leaves you feeling just a bit more connected with the digital world around you. It teaches how to build a new network for personal or business use, and the math behind how you should put it together.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I'd recommend a strong math background, but it's not necessary to pull numbers off the top of your head. But good intuitive understanding comes with practice like anything else, so if you want to try it and feel stuck, give it a little bit of time and don't be afraid to ask questions!
