    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course contains a heavy workload, making it almost impossible to take along with any other time consuming courses. Be mindful if you do decide to take this class that you need to dedicate time on a daily basis to review materials and drill them into your brain.

    Course highlights:

    Advice for students:

Study your butt off and don't slack. People often assume since this is a community college that most classes are easy, This one is not by far. Commit to studying and earning your grades.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was so motivational to pursue my chosen career in nursing. After being out of school for two years, this was exactly what I needed as a jumpstart. I found the material extremely interesting, and have been able to apply what I have learned to my daily life.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the skeletal and muscular system were the most interesting for me. Overall, we started at the very basic with cells, molecules, and chemistry, and then into the form and function. It took about halfway through to focus on the bigger topics like DNA and gene expression. Other topics included skin, muscle, nervous system, bones, joints, and the brain.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook, ask questions, draw pictures, and utilize study guides!
