    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The experience and attitude of the professors, the content of the papers and the relevance to the filmmaking industry make this a throughly worthwhile course.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make a film from conception to completion. The highlights for me were definitely the practical filmmaking skills that I learned, and being taught how to tell a 'story' through film.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up to date with your work, communicate openly and frequently with your professors and classmates and don't be afraid to push boundaries in your first year.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was lazy. He had his own definitions that no one else in the film world uses. He would put on a movie and leave class and forget about us sometimes.

    Course highlights:

I gained from the group discussions we had and hearing other people's perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're doing this because you plan on going in to film, wait until you go to a two or four year college. I gained nothing from Dr. Schwartz
