    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Would recommend because it's easy, but the professor isn't the greatest.

    Course highlights:

It's a basic math class. I'm not interested in pursuing anything math related so it didn't really hold my interest, but it was definitely easy. There's no mandatory homework, tests are open book, you learn about things that you already covered in high school math.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do the test study guides, because they're helpful. It's not necessary to attend every lecture to succeed in the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because a math course is required for almost every major, and Professor Bourhim is very kind and educated. Professor challenges students by asking questions in lecture, and going over challenging examples to prepare students for the exams.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are the review days before the exams. Professor spends an entire class before the exam to go over what was learned in the chapters, and what will be on the exam. This was really helpful for me, because I was able to make a study guide for the information he explained would be on the final.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to pay attention during the lectures and study the textbook throughout the chapters. The exams are open book, but this won't help you if you don't know where in the textbook the topic is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The Professor is incredible; both knowledgeable in his field and caring about the students success.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course were the fact that Prof Thomas gave you similar practice examples that were going to be on the exam. He would also provide a study guide as to what to focus on.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. I know mine was 8AM so it was a drag especially during the winter, but it's so much more helpful seeing and hearing the prof go over the material. It makes it easier to retain.
