Passionate, inspirational, and understanding, Donna Acox makes you want to attend lecture. The material is applicable to real life, and Donna is the catalyst to helping you understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
1.) The professor. Hands down, Donna is the greatest, most inspirational professor I have ever had. 2.) The definite outlines. Donna follows her syllabus and provides the homework for the entire course at the start of the semester. Lectures and exams follow the textbook, so you always know where to search for information. 3.) The videos. Usually, videos in class mean time to doze off for some. Not in this class! The videos are intriguing, well-known documentaries that make you question things about our food system.

Advice for students:
1.) Studying nutrition? TAKE THIS! You will gain SO much for this course, specifically with Donna. 2.) Get the textbook ASAP. As mentioned, lectures follow the book material. 3.) Stay focused in class. You will gain a plethora of knowledge from its content to share with others and to apply to your own life. 4.) Do the extra credit. There are a few chances for extra credit, and they're very fun assignments! The class is minimal on busy work.
