    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The classroom as small and the topics covered were interesting. There was a lot of interactions between students and between the professor and the students as well.

    Course highlights:

It is an introductory course and thus hits upon a lot of topics broadly. I enjoyed learning more about the education system in the US and the flaws that exist within it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class and take good notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because knowing about the society you live in is very important. Everyone should be aware of the social issues their country face. This class presented these issues in an engaging way.

    Course highlights:

I genuinley enjoy watching documentaries. After watching 13th, I was happy to engage in discussion about America's prison system.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course! Be open minded! You should also do the readings. They are simple and short. They are also pretty interesting and informative. This class is not a waste of time! It should be required!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allows students to apply material in the real world and see the workings of society.

    Course highlights:

One of the main things we discussed in SOC 101 was the sociological imagination, by C. Wright Mills, a tool that shows connectedness between the individual self and society. We also looked at many social injustices currently happening, and their historical context linked to how society works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Utilize the professors office hours if needed, she is very helpful and open to questions!
