    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was a great way to help adjust to the school, and also it was very encouraging. My professor was amazing and made the course really enjoyable. We took surveys and wrote essays that really helped us students learn more about ourselves.

    Course highlights:

The overall highlights of this course were taking the surveys, writing reflection papers, and getting to know more about my peers. I learned more people and professional skills throughout the duration of this course and I would highly recommend this course!

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

As long as you stay on top of your work and don't procrastinate, you will be very successful in this course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was helpful in some aspects for helping me transition from high school to college level courses. I do however believe that this should have been an optional course because it was obvious there were some students who needed the class more than others.

    Course highlights:

We learned basic time management skills and other positive academic habits. Also, we covered one of the core values of Villa Maria College, which was justice. We researched the topic and wrote papers on our experiences with justice. We also performed community service as a group to further show our support for Justice. One of the events included "Feed My Starving Children" which was a food packaging event help at our school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are worried about the course load of college classes and are trying to eliminate bad habits from high school, I would highly recommend you take this class. If you are an overall sound student and don't struggle with deadlines or other restraints, then I think you would be okay to go without this course.
