Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Markowitz makes learning about the brain and how it works much more interesting than it may sound!

    Course highlights:

Being a psychology major, I learned the basics of my future. I learned the different parts of the brain, ways drugs and alcohol effect peoples actions, and more importantly I learned about experiments that people have created to form answers to the questions that many of us may have about the human mind and why things happen the way they do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you must participate in active learning which requires participating in class discussions, putting all your effort into assignments given as well as tests and quizzes, and active note taking. The best way to make a course easier to succeed in is by either making it relevant to your life or finding a way to become interested in the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I find the subject really interesting. It went over the basic subjects like development and the subconscious. It was really easy to study for and the teacher was very understanding.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the phases of development and certain beliefs that psychologists have for the reason for dreams which I think is really cool.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I strongly suggest you make index cards or look up them up online because there are some sites that have those. You should definitely go to the instructor with questions. He is really nice and understanding. It will help to outline your notes because when taking notes for class you may write to much and things are easier to remember if you are short and concise. Also look up some pneumonic devices or make your own. -
