Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Custer really cares about her students and is always ready to give any additional help or advice. She put a lot of emphasis on group work which is important in many careers. There was a multimodal project that ended up being really fun, but be sure to pick good group members that will carry their weight.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how different fields write their research and how to do collaborative essays and projects. This course refines your writing skills and prepares you for writing in your major while educating you about other majors.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for the quizzes, turn in all your papers on time, bring your laptop to class, and rent the textbook when the semester starts ( a lot of people weren't able to get one because the bookstore ran out).

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Every student at App has to take this, and while the class was tedious, I will say it helped me in developing my writing instruction in my own classroom.

    Course highlights:

We wrote several papers in several different formats, which helped me diversify my own teaching of writing as a high school English Teacher

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The assignments don't take long to do as long as you independently stay on top of your work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a great teacher and relates to her students! She also gives awesome feedback on your writings and journals!

    Course highlights:

I learned that writing isn't always a one way process. I was able to take a paper and turn it into a digital literacy narrative, which was pretty fun to do!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to work on big assignments a little at a time before it's due so you won't be overwhelmed at the last minute.
