Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an amazing course to take because the main goal is to get you to look at other cultures in a different way - not just as them being different from our. It really teaches you a new way of looking at different cultures.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of valuable lessons in this course. I learned not to judge a culture based on what it does or does not have; compare them to how your culture works; and don't just think because you do not understand why they do what they do that it does not have significance to them. It's important to keep your mind and your eyes open.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read. There is a lot of reading that you have to do, but it is all for your benefit. Reading about first-hand encounters can really help you learn what should and should not be done when faced with a new culture.
