    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is TOUGH. He goes through the curriculum at an accelerated pace, has topics on power point but if you want notes to pass the test you'll be writing down every word as he lectures.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was finishing the final exam. It was hard to retain information when he was teaching at such a fast pace.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the book definitely helps. Make sure you are paying attention during lecture and taking notes. Like I said, he talks fast but everything he says is important and will likely be on the test.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives you the opportunity to figure out what kind of biology there is to study.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about the different organisms.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you put in the effort, it will be a good chance to learn about the species living around you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it if you love biology and don't need to take it for your major.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the lab component, which is a lot more hands on. I learned a lot more about general biological concepts, from lactic acid to glycogen.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study from the beginning and go to office hours.
