    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is the stepping stone into becoming a successful healthcare worker. Communication and great listening skills are always important in healthcare. The professor is great as well.

    Course highlights:

    In this course, I learned how to research adequate information for papers due in that semester. I also learned that whatever the a healthcare worker can be a great advocate for a patient.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    When taking this course get note cards and take good notes. If objective provided by the instructor is learned then you will do great a job in this course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Nursing 201 gives the student interested in the nursing program information on the history and development of the nursing profession. There are a few papers assigned designed to utilize critical thinking skills to reflect on covered materials.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights were beginning to learn medical terminology, important figures through history that related to the nursing profession. There were a couple of movies that helped demonstrate the importance of the nurses role, and how their role can change through time and cultures.

    6-8 hours

    This course is a foundation to your future success, pay attention to the medical terminology!
