    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Eng 111 is a great writing course that should be took by all students. This course strengthens your reading and writing skills. It gets your brain prepared to analyze and communicate professionally your peers.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to analyze text. I can compare and contrast essays and write essays based off of research. I can identify the main ideas, the authors purpose, an I learned how to correctly annotate to grasp a better understanding of text.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take good notes in class and use all available online resources. If you have questions in class then jot them down and be sure to ask your instructor after class or email your instructor. College essays are different then high school essays, so don't wait until the last minute to produce your work. Be sure to have enough time for proofreading from your instructor and your peers.

    The teacher is amazing and she makes the course fun and enjoyable!!

    I learned more about grammar and writing in MLA format.

    Be prepared to get involved!! She does not take too well to slackers.

    I would recommend this course because I feel it's challenging my writing skills.

    I have learned how important it is to reread and revise so you know you're being understood through your writing.

    Advice for students:

    Don't take any work lightly; try to truly understand what the assignments are talking about. It will help you tremendously with major writing assignments in the future.
