    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Organic chemistry was a difficult subject to learn. The classes being eight weeks means you have to study every weekend. The course builds on itself, so if you miss a class and think you'll just not worry about it on the test can still pass, may hurt you on the next test.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Moore had some great notes for students to print off and work through while she goes over the materiel on the projector. Nomenclature was a large part of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy a molecular model kit, so that you can see in 3D the various shapes compounds can take and how the bonds interact. Get a study group going. I tried to study by myself and it was difficult. teaching others how or why things work, helps you to understand the materiel better.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you think he's too hard for Chem1A, wait till you take Danner for 1B (where you have no choice but to only take him) atleast Lobliner is very organized and clear with what he wants.

    Course highlights:

Just pay EXTRA attention to his prelabs and take as many notes as you can in your ntbk since his tests are open notes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take him over Perrot or Danner.
