    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am a math oriented person and this teacher made it more focused on the vocabulary, so it wasn't my favorite.

    Course highlights:

This teacher is super nice and makes really relatable analogies! Although her study guides were nothing like her tests so I had to improvise pretty quickly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over the powerpoint slides before the test. Do the homework. Make sure you have enough time to handle this class.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Mazzarone is an awesome instructor and does a great job with the material.

    Course highlights:

Pretty much more about atoms and elements.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, pay attention, and DO NOT PROCRASTINATE.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it. Although I don't remember which teacher I took, the course was very well laid out, very well explained, and was easy to understand. The teacher answered any and all questions I had in a timely fashion and was even willing to meet with me when I needed help because I didn't understand something on my own. I enjoyed taking this course online, although I don't recommend it to those who are very visual learners or who need explanations in order to understand the material. This was more of a self-taught class.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned about entropy, thermodynamics, chemical equations, in detail about the periodic table, and more! There was a lot of information that was familiar from taking CHM 131, but there was also a lot of new information. We went through how to write chemical equations, how to determine entropy, how different chemicals react different ways, and more! It was definitely interesting, but like I said before, was a self-taught class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest advice when considering to take any online chemistry course is to make sure you are okay with teaching yourself. Although powerpoint lectures were provided, we still did the experiments on our own, the homework on our own, classwork and tests all on our own. There was no teacher to teach the information we had to understand it from reading the book and reading the lectures. If you are a visual learner or learn better from being explained how to do something, I wouldn't suggest taking this course or any online chemistry course for that matter.
