Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jay is a charismatic and fun teacher, and clearly cares about his students. The class was intense, a six week course, so be prepared to buckle down pretty hard. The professor was creative with his teaching techniques, and was patient with any questions. Because my class was an honors program course, we even learned things beyond pre-calc and about famous mathematicians.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to buckle down and work hard, and when to accept mistakes and when not to. I even had a chance to learn some 3D graphing, which was much cooler than it may sound. The highlight by far, though, was the professor. He was quirky but cared a lot about students and was always willing to listen.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to move quickly. Make sure your understanding of each concept is solidified because it can be easy to get lost. Don't be afraid to talk to the professor.
