Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking organic chemistry with Dr. Gould is one of the best decisions you could make in your college career! Dr. Gould is an amazing professor who can pass his deep wealth of knowledge in organic chemistry to students in a way that STUDENTS understand, despite his high level of education. In his course you will actually learn how to DO organic chemistry in the most highly enjoyable manner. Please do yourself a favor and TAKE his class.

    Course highlights:

In CHM 233/234 I learned about electron pushing, conjugation, Bronsted-Lowry acid-base theory, chirality, reaction mechanisms, and more. Importantly, however, you actually learn how to LEARN in this course!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to do ALL of his homework questions and truly test yourself. He provides the step by step solutions to the homework. If you don't understand something, then ask, because he will be able to explain it to you quicker than it will take you to figure it out yourself. Attend the review sessions. If you do this, you WILL be successful in his course.
