    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone starting out in pursuing a profession in the medical field. This course really allows in depth understanding of the way the body works and how everything involved in the human body is essential to normal function, as well as how something missing can cause issues.

    Course highlights:

Cardiology and lab dissections were always my favorite parts of lab and lecture. The heart is the one thing that never stops working and it is amazing to learn about it's complete function and how it oxygenates blood and pumps it through the body continuously throughout the day.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your book, make your own notes aside from the notes provided in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Hands on professor, the exams are based off the notes and the labs are self explanatory and hands on. The labs are also used to review material from the previous lecture and you can earn extra points for fixing any errors if you made any on your quiz/ test.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to identify many parts of the skin layers, muscles and internal organs of a cat that me and my group dissected. I also learn about the different types of systems of the human body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and set aside time to read over your notes each day and you will pass the exam!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Intense, there is a lot of information to grasp! Professor tone broke the sections apart to focus on specific areas of the body and taught in such a way the students were able to tell you the complete components of each part of the body.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was the lab portion of the course. You got a hands on view of what you were reading about. It is hard to just memorize everything so actual interaction is a must.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, and early. Cramming the day before is probably the worse thing you can do.
