Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Albanese truly cares about his students' experiences in the class. I visited his office to take a test, and the first question he asked me was, "How is the online format for this class? Do you feel like you are succeeding?" He plans the course in a way that feels natural and gives plenty of real world examples to go with the lessons. I also enjoy the Connect Math software that is used for the class work.

    Course highlights:

The course has a heavy business focus, but also gives examples in the different science fields. Since I am a business student, I felt that the models used in finance were a good foundation for the more advanced business classes that I have yet to take. Anyone who is studying business will find they are more prepared for what is ahead if they take this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Self discipline is a must with any online course. This math course is no exception. Each unit coursework was generally due every Sunday. Do not wait until Saturday to begin the work for the week. Make sure you are studying and working each day of the week to make the workload more manageable. Do not hesitate to ask questions. Mr. Albanese was generally quick to respond.
