    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it provides a simple and comprehensive overview of music theory, history, and style, and teaches effective methods for analyzing and understanding music.

    Course highlights:

The Music Appreciation course takes students through every time period of music, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Within teach time period, we learned about composers, genres, styles, and patterns within the music. We also learned how the current culture of the time and countries influenced the music that was produced. We also had opportunities to go to concerts and hear the type of music that we were learning about.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, paying attention is key! Take notes and study them often, and read along in the textbook. All of the tests consist of information that is covered word-for-word within the textbook, so if you read and pay attention, you won't have any problem.
