    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She gives a lot of extra credit but only because her work is difficult. There are many processes and diagrams we are assigned to know.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of the course was that there were many opportunities for extra credit. I learned that I need to find better ways to memorize biological processes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Never get to class late. Never leave class early or even for a bathroom break. Study the different biological processes and pictures at least twice a week. If possible, make flash cards of the different terms that she emphasizes.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course is you absolutely do NOT have to take it. If there is no way of getting around this course, I would suggest Kristin L. Voytek as your professor. She is good with breaking things down and some times lenient with chances for a better grade.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for this course included my ability to finally understand simple biology terms and how to apply them to grasp a better concept on how life is created. This course is rigorous but also helpful enough to give you incite and building blocks for future Biology courses.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you absolutely need to study in advance, ask questions, and read the chapters before the lecture. Not only read the chapters but evaluate them, take notes, have questions ready, and be familiar with the information before lecture.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Will clarify things you are fuzzy on if you ask her.

    Course highlights:

I will hopefully never take another class by her again.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Her lectures are in depth and she articulates well.
