Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Vietor allows you to learn on your own, but is there when you need him. He gives essays which allow you to learn how to properly summarize, and at the same time he requires that you ask questions in them in order to spark more ideas. Dr. Vietor's quizzes are fair, and his lectures are Socratic seminars. This is how most graduate level courses are, and it is nice to get a feel for what that will be like.

    Course highlights:

In this course we discussed many current event topics centered around race and culture. We discussed racial views on African Americans, Asian Americans, and Muslim Americans. We also delved into topics like sexuality, and gender. The majority of the course was the discussion of how unfair the United States, and life, can be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

We had to do essays almost every week. Do the essays early! It was helpful to have them, and the readings, done before hand in order to be prepared for class discussion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the information is extremely useful/valuable and the professor has a great connection with the subject and the students.

    Course highlights:

I learned that society is much more complex than one would believe. Every individual throughout the world has his/hers own perspective of life and although everyone is different, everyone is mostly the same.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study throughout the course and attend class.

    Hours per week:
