    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if is a requirement, but other than that, not really. It takes a lot work, focus, attention, and time. Never give up when you so close to your dreams! What things seen hard and impossible to accomplish or handle, believe in yourself, pray, get help from tutors, friends, and professors.

    Course highlights:

The highlight would be studying the right way, pays off! I learn about Sn1 Sn2 , Lewis structure, mechanisms, structure-reactivity correlations, stereochemistry and conformational analysis, resonance and molecular orbital theory, spectra, natural products, heterocyclic systems, synthesis.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To work very hard ! Never give up! Believe in yourself! Go to class, know what you can handle course-wise, don't be afraid to ask questions and get help. Time management is a big deal, especially if don't have a lot a time to spare and with 4 or 5 courses and in a organization.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned how to name chemical structures, along with writing out reactions that would be very useful to know.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a ton of information to learn in this class that requires a ton of dedication to go along with it. You just have to put many hours inorder to receive a good grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was one of the most miserable courses I took during college, but it was very rewarding. Once you work at it and fail a couple quizzes, it all begins to click. It's one of those classes where your hard work actually pays off. Despite the class being very difficult the final exam was extremely easy because everything builds off of the thing before it.

    Course highlights:

Understanding organic structures, and seeing on paper how the the combination of two chemicals can form a new structure.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it! During college tons of people told me that they decided not to go towards a particular career because they had to take organic chemistry in order to complete their desired major. Just do it! No one is good at it at first.
