    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking the course but not with the teacher. I personally think sociology is interesting because it talks about things relevant in todays society. I did not like the professor because what he would teach in class and what was in the book were not similar to the tests. It was definitely a challenging course to take but I would suggest knowing how to teacher yourself material and study a lot more than you normally would to pass with Mr. Mitchell. He is a boring teacher but his stories are interesting.

    Course highlights:

What I did like most about this course was the content. I love learning about people and how they think or why they grow up a certain way. One thing that helped me in this course was the extra credit! I liked the discussions we would have because it was interesting to see how different people view topics whether they agree or disagree and why.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest buying the text book and after a lecture to read over it because there is important information that could be covered on the test in there. Also to have an open mind and listen to others when they speak and don't judge anyone based of their views and opinions.
