    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Curry is such a great guy! He gives quite a few "pop" quizzes but they're easy on usually multiple choice or matching. He doesn't overcomplicate things and there's not too much homework. There is one big group project that's worth a lot but the topics he lets you choose from are relatable and student-friendly.

    Course highlights:

I learned how basic sociology was. Prior to the course, I figured sociology was some foreign, complicated outlook on life and you needed an adept understanding of outside cultures to fully understand it but I was totally wrong. The highlight of the course is definitely taking it with Prof. Curry because he makes learning fun and uses a lot of outside examples from videos and his own experiences to help teach the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your notes every night! Even if there isn't a quiz the next day, there's a lot of material you need to learn but it is pretty easy. Also, he gives you lots of time to prepare for assignments so take advantage of it! Do not procrastinate.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives a good, introductory overview of the field of Sociology and how/why people act the way they do- overall it was very interesting.

    Course highlights:

The course was fun and based on participation. Interesting films that supported textbook topics were shown, and "real life" was applied to the book materials.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to work in many groups- there are a lot of collaborative projects and the final project is difficult and requires a lot of work.
