Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives students and in-depth look into the evolution of communications. We learned the history of communications, from word of mouth to modern media, through lecture, the textbook and videos.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was researching and writing about the Watergate Scandal. We watch the movie "All the President's Men" and had the opportunity to see Bob Woodward discuss the scandal, as well as the importance of journalism when he came to Elon University.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that all students who think they may have an interest in communications to take this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great intro-level Communications class, and a great professor who loves teaching and helping students learn. Gets students who are already interested in Comm even more excited about their future coursework, and students who were on the fence about Comm as a major more into the idea.

    Course highlights:

The ins and outs of basic Communications, as well as subjects and topics that anyone in any major within a school of Communications would enjoy learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in with an open mind and just be excited. This class can be fun if you make it, and overall is not that challenging. Since it is an intro level class, take the opportunity to make new friends that you will undoubtedly have more Comm classes with in the future.
