    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Overman is a challenging professor but she pushed me through this senior seminar course and I think I became a better student and writer because of it. She definitely made me hate and love this course throughout my time in her class.

    Course highlights:

I actually took the 460 course not the 461 course and it was amazing to actually get to design a behavioral regulation study and complete it throughout the semester. I learned how to write a manuscript for a study, how to review academic literature most effectively, and overall how to write in a more scientific way.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I think just following her directions and not thinking you can complete it all at one time and put it off is my best advice for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Alison's seminar was constructed around psychology and law. She chose the most interesting articles to read and was very helpful grader!

    Course highlights:

A highlight was writing my senior seminar paper. I really was able to delve into a topic that was interesting to me. I learned a lot about how the criminal justice system has negative effects on young children.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read all of the articles given for homework and use Dr. Alison as your best resource for your final paper!
