Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Learning about the human body was a great experience due to the fact that I was learning about my own body. This is awesome if your are planning to work in the medical field. The class teaches you about how the body should work and what can mess up the bodies process to do what it is supposed to do.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the Kreb cycle and how this tiny cellular organ powers a cell using ATP. With out cellular respiration no cell would move and the body on a cellular level would not work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is mostly direct memorization and reading comprehension. Get yourself a team in the class and an erasable plastic sheet to label drawings.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is designed to explain the 11 systems of the human body. This course is very in depth and it is not something that you can just brush off the study time. You have to work very hard for your grade and especially if you like mastering your courses. As much as I loved this course and all the time I spent studying I ended up with my first B. I must say it was well worth seeing the B when it was all over with.

    Course highlights:

There are thousands of things that I learned during this fast 16 week course. This class gave me a wonderful background for nursing classes. It was taught in depth so now that we are touching the bases of the items I know why the information is what it is.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You must study everyday. For most people this class is not something that just clicks and makes sense. You have to put lots of time into knowing each bone, fissure, suture, etc that makes up the human body. You need to stay organize and focused. This is not a class I would recommend anyone to take over the summer. 16 weeks still is not enough time for you to gain all the knowledge that is expected.

Study hard and study smart. Get a study group together.
