Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Young is extremely interactive and there is no quite person in his class.

    Course highlights:

The most exciting thing learned throughout this course would be the history behind Spain such as the food and different languages spoken there other than Spanish.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Making flashcards for the vocabulary is the best study material for this course, everything else is easy!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is pretty tough, and does not really communicate when there's an issue. I followed the directions for submitting an issue with the Vista website, and he still gave zero for an assignment. I would recommend taking this course with a different instructor! While a secondary language is usually mandatory, the Spanish taught in this course is rarely used with native speakers. It's what I refer to as "textbook Spanish".

    Course highlights:

Descriptive adjectives, common er verbs, common ir verbs, and key phrases.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a LOT! It would also be helpful to record some of the videos on Vistas as mp3, and listen to the audio on the go. Extra practice never hurt anyone!
