    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Harvey was a very understanding and helpful professor. He was gracious in answering all of the class questions and meeting during or outside office hours.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were mainly Trig functions. The instructor was the best part. He made a difficult topic much easier to understand and remember for future courses. He did a lot of review and never gave a pop quiz.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize the unit circle. Focus on the review exercises. The tests are directly from these pages.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course can be difficult, but long due dates make it very possible to learn everything needed. It's important to build on the large amounts of time available to you per module.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton of trigonometry, of course, but more importantly I learned to compile my notes into a sort of equation booklet to help me succeed. Furthermore, I learned how to budget my time in order to properly understand every part of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Print a copy of the Unit Circle as soon as possible, and memorize it if you can. Memorize the most basic equations and learn to think in radians instead of degrees; this course is mostly radians. Write all useful equations in an easily accessible notebook so that they're all in one place. Finally, don't do many homework questions each day; do a few (8-10) a day, you should have time.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Kiel was a GREAT teacher, but I would advise that you NOT take this course online. It is complicated course and I would imagine that it would be better understood in the classroom.

    Course highlights:

I learned that it was necessary to take thorough notes as precal trig is basically nothing but formulas. Also, fellow students posted different things on blackboard that could be helpful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please take this class IN PERSON and not online.
