Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course highly, even if you are not going into the medical field. It is useful knowledge and it is very interesting all the bacteria, viruses, and etc, that are around everything!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be the experiments and labs. One thing that I liked a lot was a lab towards the end of the semester. We swabbed our own body and grew it to find out what bacteria lives on us. Everyone has bacteria as a part of their normal flora. I just didn't realize we had that much and a variety.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study for this course with no doubt. I am not big on studying but this course needed it. Do not forget.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Edelman is a great professor. She knows how to capture the her students attention and keep it. It was fun and I enjoyed going to class. Even in the tough moments she was there to help us understand and encourage us.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different types of viruses and each one affects the body. We learned about the different bacterias and got to grow some in lab. We got to grow mold and got to see the different types of mold through the microscope. It was a great class and I took an abundance of knowledge from it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go through the power points she offers for the exams. High light everything she talk about in class in your book. You can print out the power points as well and use those to highlight what she goes over too. Make sure to get as much reading as possible done.
