    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

very simple and is not any harder than your average eight grade english and literature class in my opinion.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were not much since it was content i already knew for the past four years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The only thing i would recommend in order to succeed is to put away at least two hours a week in order to write a weekly required essay.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was informative and gave me a further understanding of literacy. The insight from professor Arreguin was extremely constructive and I feel that it has helped improve my skills as a writer.

    Course highlights:

This course has taught me the various aspects of literacy and how I can apply them in life. It has shaped my skills in literacy and I feel will help me in future classes as I continue my education.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, I found the most beneficial thing was for me to learn and use a note-taking system. This helps to keep your notes organized and makes it easier for you to find specific information within an entire course worth of notes.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, not only for the outstanding knowledge gained, but the open discussion that occurs. This course gives way for respectful argumentation and topics encompass relevant, real-world issues.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, in my opinion, were the open discussion seminars. Topics revolved around fresh issues; these included (but are not limited to) the political debates, black lives matter movement, women's rights, lgbtq plus rights, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anyone who is considering this course, is to be open minded and expect a lot of writing. Essays were assigned every other week. You must be prepared to think, analyze, and review your peers' work. Overall, be expectant of heavy load work but rewarding outcomes.
