    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I agree, one of the most important things you can do is learn how to properly engage and deliver an interesting speech or presentation.

    Course highlights:

I learned how giving too much information can be an over kill.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please take this course, it will come in handy

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to any student attending college, or thinking about returning. This was the first class I took and completed at GTCC, and it took the fear away from presenting in front of a class of strangers. It motivated me to stay enrolled and gave me the confidence I needed to interact in every class.

    Course highlights:

From this course I gained confidence as well as tips and tricks on professionalism, eye contact, body language, rhetoric and learned how to project my voice. This course helped me to overcome the fear of public speaking, that many people share.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is more an interactive class, and trial and error. Be a good listener to your peers, learn from their mistakes and success. Participation is key as well as presentation, before you do a speech you always want to look the part. Remember, it's natural to feel nervous, but that feeling lasts only seconds and your peers only see what you portray to them.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend public speaking because the course helps one break out of their shell and really begin to express themselves.

    Course highlights:

Being the shy person that l am, this course really gave me the opportunity to beat down the fear I had of speaking in front of people. I learned how to speak louder with confidence, organize thoughts and facts in a way that could be expressed properly and overall the importance of being able to publicly speak.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to step outside of the box, really let your mind reveal itself without fear.
