    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because calculus is a course that everyone should take to have a basic understanding of upper level mathematics. Calculus presents challenges that surpass basic algebra which essential to understand in the advancing real world.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of how matter and energy works with the natural world through speed and acceleration, which are main concepts in calculus.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice to consider when taking calculus is to study what you have learned in class every single day. The concepts and equations you learn can be easily forgotten in an instance but if you review your course material for at least one to two hours a day, then you will without a doubt pass calculus with no struggle. However, if you do happen to have trouble understanding calculus then make sure to get a tutor because there are plenty of people in college that understand calculus 1 and are willing to help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fuselier is a fantastic professor. He makes sure everyone understands the concepts, and he turns math into quite an enjoyable experience.

    Course highlights:

I had taken calc before this class, so I didn't learn a great deal. Yet because I had taken calc before, I was able to compare Dr. Fuselier to my high school teacher. Dr. Fuselier was exceptional.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the homework for this class. The class isn't hard if you do the homework for the class. WebAssign is very inclusive, giving you problems that will definitely be on the test. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's hard to rate an online class. The program we used, My Math Lab, was very useful and easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

Every now and then I would send the teacher an email with a question and she was very quick to respond.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

But the program we used was so user friendly there weren't many issues.
