    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The semester long group project was a great learning experience and opportunity to work with a real client of a real company and obtain some on hands experience in the marketing world. However, the class itself was a lot of busy work and not very interactive.

    Course highlights:

Working with a company to develop a marketing plan gave me business world experience. I learned how to write a proper marketing plan, update social media pages to make them more appealing, and come up with new ways to market a startup company.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is much more enjoyable working in the group project than the actual lectures on class. If you take this course, be prepared to spend more time out of class working on papers and the semester long group project. It is a lot of work, but it is worth it in the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

You learn the overall basics of marketing; product, price, place, and promotion. Whether you are studying communications, business, or interior design, it is always beneficial to know the material taught in this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were analyzing case studies, critiquing advertisements, and learning from a professor with experience in this field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to start studying for the exams. There is a lot of material and it can be easily mixed up.
