    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Chemistry is the basis of all life. It's very interesting to go into detail and learn about all of the reactions that happening around us that we don't even think about. It is a difficult class, but you will gain so much knowledge.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the demonstrations of chemical reactions. I learned the reason behind reactions that happen often, but I never payed attention to them. This class goes deep into chemical reactions that you wouldn't have thought twice about even though they happen around us everyday.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course, I would suggest coming in ready to work. The homework that is assigned will take you a couple of hours to complete, but it will help you learn the material. Create flash cards for terms and concepts, ask questions in class if you don't understand how the professor arrived at the answer they got, go to office hours, and find people in your class/and or major and create a study group. Chemistry comes with a lot of math and you have to understand the basics from chapter 1 to continue because it all follows. Therefore, if you are lost on a subject, get help on it immediately and don't bypass it because that will only hurt you in the end.
