Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is absolutely wonderful! Dr Cook is always making the class entertaining and finds ways to keep all of us interacting. She knows her subject well, and was able to teach it very effectively. While reading the chapters before each class was not always fun, it was very beneficial when we talked about it in class.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite lessons in the course was when we talked about different groups in the business and their roles. It was very beneficial because at the time of this lesson I was reading the book "One Minute Manager". A lot of what was in the book was tying into what we spoke about in the lesson. We learned how to take different situations and how to deal with them. My favorite activity was when we had to "fire" a team member for not pulling their weight in the project. She gave us a scenario and then let a few students (I was one) be in charge of the firing of that team member.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have to take this course, sign up for Dr Cook. You never know what she will come up with. She keeps the class very entertained. My biggest advice will be to make sure to do the reading and take the notes on the chapters. Yes, the chapters are long, but it helps a lot when you know what she is talking about in class. It is also very beneficial when we do group projects.
