Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. College is more than just job training. It is about expanding your mind and becoming a scholar. This class reflects that ideal.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on the classic rhetorical strategies of composition theory, and required the writing of formal literary analyses. I gained a lot from class, including how to evaluate literature critically, and how to write essays effectively using evidence from the texts to support a clear thesis point.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would describe this class as interesting and quite challenging. I've taken a few English courses, and this was by far the most challenging. This is a class where reading and keeping up with the textbook and lectures really makes the most difference. And it's a cliche, but practice does make perfect. The class is definitely one you can learn from, but you really have to be able to invest the time required.
