    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Write your papers as soon as you get the prompt, don't wait until the night before.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're just looking to get the basic mechanics of essay writing down, this is a decent class. However, if you are particular about what you write about and how you write, you might end up frustrated with this professor. She's very nitpick and expects you to write exactly as she suggests.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about structure from this class; coming into a school I was a decent writer but had weak organization. The professor was very helpful when it came to learning about developing a strong thesis and topic sentences that related back to it, and gave me a better idea of how to strengthen my transitions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do what the professor says, even if it seems ridiculous. She's very particular about structure, and you won't get an A if you don't follow her suggestions rigidly. Take advantage of office hours, too. It can't hurt. You really have to write directly for this professor to pass this class.
