Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a required if you want to be a computer scientist or computer engineer so it's a great course to take if you want to be in this field. Also Dr. Williams is a great person very caring and understanding. in his class you won't have to worry about much, as long as you read the directions carefully and study ahead of time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the weekly labs and the major projects that are handed out in class. with the weekly labs build off of one another, meaning that you start at the basics and by the time you go to your next lab you know everything you need to for next weeks' lab. The major projects are not hard and fallow the same process as the weekly labs. Dr. Williams will not give you anything that you don't already know.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course make sure you get to know Dr. Williams personally, he is a great person to know and will help you if you ever have a problem. Also get to know your classmates and TA, your classmates in there with you so it's a place to make friends and talk to people who are on the same level as you are in the class. Lastly your TA are there to help, they may seem intimidating with the Computer Science lingo but they are great people to get to know so that they can better help you understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though the course is hard itself, Prof. Gibson is very descriptive and explains in a way that anyone would understand. He provides endless resources for you to retain information.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from the basics of creating instance variables, implementing methods, and codifying simple tasks like calculating simple addition. To more difficult tasks of creating a program that accepts input from a user and outputs an answer or accesses information from pre-made documents and site and drawing flags with only code.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be intimidated by the work. Not everyone understands it immediately; as long as you're focused and open to learning the material it won't be that stressful.
