Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because understanding the way the economy works is key to having financial success. Professor is a great Professor who assures that we understand the concepts.

    Course highlights:

I learned that markets essential depend on us, the consumer. In order for a company to be successful it must appeal and meet the demands of the customer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this course you must make sure that you understand the objectives before moving on to the next topic. Each objective builds upon the next so if you don't understand the previous, you won't grasp the latter.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For me it was a required course, but if you are interested in statistical analysis it is a great course. The book was a bit confusing but my professor pretty good at clarifying and helping me understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlight for me was the ah ha moment when it began to come together and make sense. It had been quite a few years since I took my first level statistics course. I learned how to set up and conduct my own statistical research using multiple regression and ANOVA tables, which was fun once I understood it.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Full of good information you can use for personal research later. Make sure you have a calculator and excel package for statistical calculations for the homework problems. You will need that calculator for exams too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Edwards made a class I find boring and hard, interesting and easy.

    Course highlights:

The thing I got the most from the class was the different types of levels of businesses (i.e. Oligopoly, monopoly, pure monopoly, pure competition)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you actually read the material and not just look for answers.
