    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course if you are trying to pursue a degree in science or engineering based class because it is a prerequisite to a get you into major classes. It will also help you understand the basics fundamentals of chemistry.

    Course highlights:

Using the periodic table to help find electronegativity, and chemical bonding.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For however many hours you have this class a week study double that to help keep an understanding. If you have never taken a chemistry class before do a little research on general chemistry so you won't be too lost starting. Be sure to ask questions if you are lost, go to the professor office hours, and go to tutoring for extra help.

She gives you the chance to study the material on her own and come to class with questions on material we don't understand. very good for independent studying.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning the different concepts of general chemistry. You're focusing on elements, compounds and basic chemical reactions while also looking at other factors that could be a result of a reaction. Other concepts include ions, chemical formulas, types of reactions, and different trends in the periodic table.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful, you must study every day. Having the material refreshed in the back of your mind can be very helpful since chemistry connects various key concepts.
