Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor White is a great teacher. She is there to help us succeed and grow as biology students. If she knows we are not putting up our best efforts she will tell us straight up without sugar coating anything.

    Course highlights:

The best parts about the class, are the class discussions and when we get together in groups of four to work on the assignments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have to take this class make sure you ask questions if you do not understand something. Also read ahead outside of the class and watch the videos she has provided in blackboard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I put five stars because this course comes with several opportunities that are set up to help you to pass the program. There is tutoring provided by the staff and peers that available everyday. Also each professor has our where he/she works with the student 101.

    Course highlights:

I already had a good foundation of biology so there werent many new thing that I learned but the course provided very detailed lectures that answered all of the questions that i still had about biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read. Read. Read. Reading prior to the lecture is one of the best ways to have a good foundation of the material in each lesson. It allows you to have a good smooth inflow of the material because it will not be 100 new to you. It also builds your interest in the material and with more interest comes better focus.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bernot is a great professor to choose. She's very organized and very helpful inside and outside of class.

    Course highlights:

I learn more in depth about the cell organelles and how they interact with each other.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest to always review your lectures right after you learned. You can retain more information if it's still fresh in your mind.
