    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Varatharajah is an amazing teacher. He has a pretty strong accent and has a VERY specific way for writing the answers. I highly recommend this class because you actually learn things step by step.

    Course highlights:

When he teaches his course he goes over every single step to make sure everyone understands what is going on. This is extremely helpful, especially in later courses and for different classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay close attention and do the homework

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes I would recommend it, but I gave it 4 stars because the TA's grade everything harder than the teacher does. They take points off, for example, if you don't continue to write "lim" while solving for the limit. Some of us just like to get to the answers right? Well if you take this course write EVERYTHING out and I mean everything.

    Course highlights:

The class was a big class, so you get to meet a lot of other students who could possibly help you if you need it or that are also failing with you, just kidding. But the professor often times will walk around class and see how you are doing, only when he gives out packets/worksheets , other than that you have to go to his office hours or the TA's office hours to get the help you need. But since the class is really big we just start a group me and we message each other with questions. Another highlight is how all assignments and quizzes are due online. They are spaced out so you have a good amount of time, whereas test are done in class of course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This is calculus 1 so consider at your own risk, just kidding. The course will be a breeze if you take notes and do they work the professor assigns. They give you the work for practice so it's best that you do it if you want to succeed. If your gonna go to class and socialize and not take the time to do your work don't take this course. You'll not only waste the teachers time but you'll be wasting your money as well as your own time. Form study groups and have meetings before test or whenever you are stuck on an assignment that is given. I learned that using other people's brain really help. You can think your already smart and don't need them, but we all need a little help here and there so get it when you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher commits heavily to ensuring you understand the material. This is a firm base when it comes to engineering and other math courses.

    Course highlights:

Derivatives are everything in this course. If you can figure these out, and the multiple ways to reach them, math will be a breeze.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare yourself by going over some of the different lessons prior to the year.
