    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because of the professor who teaches this course. Her teaching style is lecture and she uses slides but don't bother trying to take notes because there is too much information being jammed into one slide. Your better off taking your own notes in the text book.

    Course highlights:

The only highlight was the group works and individual assignments. If i learned anything it was from that. It helped my grade a lot because her tests are impossible. This course mainly focused on dictators and economic issues between countries and within countries. You will definitely learn about foreign issues in this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Choose another professor than Middleton. Her exams are specifically written by her, meaning that there is only one true answer to each of her questions. None of which you can discussed because her answer is the answer. It makes it difficult to study online and use other sources. Get the text book.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are a person that can enjoy and completely understand history. This is a class where you can mesh present day current events with everything from 1945 also making it as if its a story to tell to a class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the first chapter I adapted really quickly when we didn't have to use the textbook. I didn't learn as much when we had to start reading in the textbook the news that was taught everyday wasn't as interesting as I thought it would have been.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The studying tips of taking this course is taking a lot of notes read them over everyday until she announces its going to be a test. Always have any questions ready after reading over those notes about something you don't understand. Always study from a note card with key events the night before the test.
