    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class and professor for anyone that needs to take Math 103! Mr. Casterlow is a great professor who will put in that work to help you as long as you are trying your best. He really cares about his students success in the world and wants to help you succeed. The material is challenging, and he will let you know that it is challenging. But, at the same time he works with you to get you to where you need to be.

    Course highlights:

I refreshed on my math skills while gaining knew ones. I learned how to problem solve on a different scale in math than in High School.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

if you are taking this course the best advice I will give you is to work ahead! Those days where you are looking for something to do, go ahead and crack open your workbook and work on those pages. Get your module homework done and out of the way ahead of time because when it's 11:30pm and you have 3 other essays due you are going to be so happy that you at least completed your homework for this class. It is a demanding class, but if you put in at least an extra hour a day of work you will be successful! Make a point to go to his office hours because when you are looking for help he will make sure to help you.
