Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a very different teacher. She's a pastor so you'll sometimes here church type references throughout her speaking. She's sarcastic at it's best, so you have to know how to handle that. Overall though she's a great teacher. She gives you the information that you need to learn.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the different cultures and the music and dancing that different cultures do was pretty interesting. Watching the students go up and demonstrate the different dances from Belly Dancing to Clogging they showed how widespread the style of dance and music ranges around the world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay ahead of the work. Listen carefully in class, don't miss any due dates. Stay positive. If you don't understand, just ask.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She does not spend time focusing on the material. She focuses on present day issues and herself.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about my classmates and their points of view on issues. The discussions were the best.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the work and take notes, even if it seems useless. Pay attention to what she says and do not use your phone during class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It talks about black people's influences in American society as well as their struggles for free rights.

    Course highlights:

When I learned about black directors whose works made it to the stage, that was very inspirational because at the time it was hard for black people to get their works published.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to buy the book! You will struggle if you do not. Also, attend class in order to know what your readings are.
