Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The professor is very intelligent and enthusiastic about the course. He has awesome stories to tell that help you learn the material in a memorable way. There is a lot of material, but it is all extremely interesting, especially with the lab.
The highlight of this course was definitely the lab. I took it in person instead of online, and I strongly feel I made the correct choice in doing that. You learn how to do some basic testing of textile materials and some basic math. By the end, you should be able to look at a yarn under the microscope and tell what kind of yarn it is.

Advice for students:
It is a decently challenging course, but it is so interesting that it is definitely worth taking. This is one of the classes that really makes the foundation for any textile major. Without this class, I would have been fairly lost in some classes I was to take after this one.
